Join free todayPerth stretches along the coast for a long way, and a match that looks close on paper can be thirty or forty minutes of driving with very few shortcuts. Setting a distance that reflects a normal weeknight matters more here than in a more compact city.
Fremantle has a distinct, active community and is roughly half an hour south west of the city centre. Members here often prefer to keep things local rather than travelling into the CBD, and it is worth saying so plainly in a first message.
Maylands, close to the city on the eastern side, is one of the more concentrated pockets of activity we see in Perth, and a good starting point if you are centrally based and want a tight radius.
Joondalup and Wanneroo sit well north of the centre, closer to forty minutes from the CBD depending on traffic. If you live out this way, it is worth being direct about that distance early rather than assuming a match will default to the city.
Perth's membership is smaller than our other four cities, and stretching this page to look the same length as Melbourne or Sydney would mean padding it with filler rather than useful local detail. What is here is accurate to the evidence we actually have.
